Fui aos Saldos!

   Couple of days ago I went shopping to take advantage of the sale season. I stopped by Sephora with nothing in particular in mind apart from checking out a few of their nailpolishes when I saw the Guerlain Perles de Nuit Meteorites from their last Holiday collection:

   Há uns dias atrás fui às compras para aproveitar os saldos. Fui à Sephora, sem nada em particular em mente para além de ir espreitar os vernizes da marca, quando avistei as Perles de Nuit da Guerlain que saíram com a última colecção do ano passado:

 

   It was marked down from 45€ to 30€. Some of the pearls were a bit crushed (the items on sale always look like they've been dropped once or twice) but it's still the same product and it was a good deal. I've tried these Guerlain perles in 01 Teint Rosé and I love them, and these are just as good. Plus, the dark teal packaging by itself was almost enough to make me get them.

   O preço passou de 45€ para 30€. Algumas das pérolas já estavam quebradas (os produtos que estão nos saldos têm sempre ar de quem já foi ao chão uma ou duas vezes), mas o produto é o mesmo e pareceu-me uma boa oportunidade. Já experimentei estas pérolas da Guerlain, mas no tom 01 Teint Rosé, que adoro, e as Perles de Nuit são igualmente impressionantes. Para além disso, o azul-esverdeado da embalagem por si só era praticamente suficiente para me convencer a trazê-las.

   I got some Sephora brand products: a lipstick in a light pink shade for 3€, the name of the color was on the exterior packaging and I threw that away but the number is G02, and a mint green nailpolish called "teeny bikini", for 2€. It's a lighter and more blue based nailpolish than Barry M's Mint, and I love Sephora's nailpolish formula, so it was a great find.

   Trouxe uns produtos da marca Sephora: um batom rosa claro por 3€, cujo nome estava no plástico envolvente que já deitei fora, mas o número é G02, e o verniz de cor menta de nome "teeny bikini", que comprei por 2 euros. É mais claro e mais azulado que o Mint da Barry M, e adoro os vernizes da marca Sephora, por isso foi um achado.

   Then I stopped by Douglas and found the best deal of the day. I've been eyeing Madly Kenzo! fragrance ever since it came out, but have been holding off the purchase. I found it 50% off!

   Depois passei pela Douglas e encontrei o melhor desconto do dia. Tenho andado de olho no perfume Madly Kenzo! desde que foi lançado, mas tenho andado a adiar a compra, e não é que o encontrei com 50% de desconto?!

Review: Mac Prep + Prime Face Protect SPF 50

Pré-base Prep+Prime SPF 50 da MAC

   Yesterday I finally went to the beach (yey!). So what better time than now for a SPF 50 primer review? Even though it's a primer, I also use it by itself because of the high protection factor. It's a very different primer from the typical silicone textured ones I'm so used to see and use.

   Ontem finalmente fui à praia (yey!). Que melhor altura que esta para uma review de um primário com FPS 50? Embora seja uma pré-base também uso por si só, por causa do factor de protecção alto. É uma pré-base diferente das com textura de silicone que estou habituada a ver e usar.

   Texture: to me, it's just like a regular sunscreen. It comes out like a white lotion and goes clear on the skin once applied. It smells strongly of sunscreen, but that does not bother me at all. It spreads easily, but I wouldn't say it's very lightweight because I can still feel it in my skin. I just use my fingers to apply it.

   Textura: para mim, é tal e qual um protetor solar. É um creme branco cuja cor desaparece depois de espalhado na pele. Cheira bastante a protector solar, mas não me incomoda nada. É fácil de espalhar, mas não diria que é leve porque consigo senti-lo na pele depois de posto. Aplico com as mãos.

 Not sure if this picture is all that useful, but I took it to try to show you how matte my skin is, after blending the product in | Não sei até que ponto esta foto é útil, mas tirei-a para tentar mostrar o quão mate está a minha pele, depois de espalhar o produto.

   Performance & Wear: unlike most of the other primers I've tried, this doesn't really even out the surface of the skin. It doesn't fill in fine lines, but it's very good at mattifying the skin. My skin is not too oily so I generally don't have oil control issues, but by looking at other opinions, apparently lot' of people love it because it controls oil very well. It makes my makeup last as long as my other primers, which is a long time since I use long-lasting makeup anyway, but if you have trouble with your makeup fading because of oily skin this might really help you.

   Performance e Duração: ao contrário de muitas outras pré-bases que já experimentei, esta não uniformiza a superfície da minha pele. Não preenche pequenos vincos do rosto, mas é muito boa a produzir um efeito mate. A minha pele não é muito oleosa e em geral não tenho problemas em controlar a oleosidade, mas investigando outras opiniões, aparentemente muitas pessoas gostam desta pré-base para este fim. Faz com que a minha maquilhagem dure tanto como com as minhas outras pré-bases, que é bastante tempo porque costumo usar produtos de longa duração de qualquer maneira, mas se têm problemas com maquilhagem a desvanecer por causa da oleosidade, este produto poderá ajudar-vos bastante.

   It's 30 mL, and have to say, I'm not a fan of the packaging. I'm ok with the plastic squirt tube, but my problem is that's black, which makes the product deteriorate a lot faster than glass, for example, because the black absorbs a lot of light and it gets really hot if I eventually forget it near a window, or take it to the beach. I can even detect a little of a plastic smell that wasn't there when I inicially got it.

   I can't remember how much it cost – maybe 30€? I wouldn't repurchase it because it's not the ideal product for my needs, but that doesn't mean it's not a good product. If you have very oily skin or want a primer and a strong SPF all in one, I say you should check it out :).

   Tem 30 mL e devo confessar que não sou fã da embalagem. A bisnaga de plástico não me incomoda, mas como é preta faz com que o produto se deteriore muito mais depressa que num frasco de vidro, por exemplo, pois o preto absorve mais luz e a bisnaga fica muito quente se por acaso me esqueço dela perto de uma janela ou se levo para a praia. Consigo até detectar um leve cheiro a plástico que não estava lá quando comprei o produto.

   Não me consigo lembrar de quanto foi – talvez 30 €? Não voltarei a comprar porque não é o tipo de pré-base que melhor responde às minhas necessidades, mas isso não quer dizer que não seja um bom produto. Se tiverem a pele oleosa ou apenas querem uma pré-base e um bom protector solar num só produto, recomendo que dêem uma olhadela nesta opção.

How I pack when traveling

O que levo quando viajo 

   Sorry about my absence lately. I do my best to keep updating the blog, but sometimes life just gets in the way and some personal stuff happened that forced me to take a little break from the blog.

   Anyway, moving on with the post, awhile back I was visiting a friend for about 4 days, and I've been meaning to show you what I packed makeup and skincare-wise. I think I found some good multi-purpose and travel-friendly products worth showing.
   Space isn't abundant on my makeup bag, so I start with the very essentials.
 

   Desculpem a minha ausência ultimamente. Eu esforço-me por actualizar o blog, mas a vida complica-se e certos acontecimentos recentes forçaram-me a fazer uma pequena pausa.

   Enfim, continuando com o post, há algum tempo atrás fui fazer uma visita a um amigo que mora longe por 4 dias, e fiquei com a intenção de vos mostrar o que levei de cosméticos, porque acho que encontrei alguns produtos práticos para viagens que vale a pena mostrar.
   Espaço não abunda na minha bolsa, por isso começo com os essenciais.

   A BB Cream (1) is always great to have because it's an all in one product - I don't have to pack a separate primer and foundation, neither a sunscreen (this has SPF25 in it) and I like to apply it with my fingers, so I don't need a foundation brush either. It also moisturizes.
   Then, it's about the eyes: mascara (2 - Benefit's They're Real) and a dark brown eyeliner, good for everyday, but I can actually build it up if I want a more dramatic look. It's the Revlon Colorstay eyeliner in Brun (3).
   I use a Benefit's Creaseless Cream Shadow (4) as my eyelid primer and concealer, and a must-have if you travel a lot is a Sleek eyeshadow palette (5). They're so thin that they dont take up any space, they pack 12 colors, and they always have the essentials like a black and a highlight color. I took the Oh So Special palette with me.
   Finally, lips and cheeks. The TBS Lip and Cheek Stain (6) is a great multiuse product, you can use it as a blush and a lip color, that you can wear sheer or intensify, and it doesn't take up any space when travelling.

   Um BB Cream (1) é sempre bom de se ter porque é um produto tudo-em-1: não preciso de levar um primário e uma base à parte, nem protector solar (tem FPS 25) e como gosto de o aplicar com os dedos, não preciso de levar pincel de base. E ainda hidrata.
   Depois foco-me nos olhos: rímel (2 - They're Real da Benefit), e um lápis castanho escuro para o dia-a-dia que posso usar mais carregado se quiser um look mais dramático. É da linha Revlon Colorstay, na cor Brun (3).
   Uso uma Creaseless Cream Shadow da Benefit (4) como primário e corrector de pálpebras, e um essencial absoluto para viajar é uma palete da Sleek (5) . São tão fininhas que não ocupam espaço nenhum, têm logo 12 cores diferentes, e têm sempre os básicos, como um iluminador e uma sombra preta. Escolhi levar a Oh So Special.
   Por fim, os lábios. A Lip and Cheek Stain da TBS (6) é um bom produto multi-usos porque se pode usar como blush ou para dar um tom aos lábios, que podemos intensificar se quisermos, e não ocupa quase espaço nenhum.

   Once I see I have some space left I start to fill it up with other stuff I want to take. My ELF Complexion Perfection powder (7), that is thin and has a big mirror (very travel friendly), and it's a great product because you can use it to set your makeup or by itself, because it actually evens out your complexion (if you're not in the mood for foundation). 

   Then a MAC Cream Color Base (8) which again, is a multiuse product that you can wear anywhere on your face (I like it as a cheek color) and black liquid liner (9 – Bourjois' Liner Pinceau), since I have the space for it. You might prefer a concealer, but the BB Cream and the powder are all I need.

   Depois de ver que ainda tenho algum espaço de sobra, ponho mais umas coisas que quero levar. O pó Complexion Perfection da ELF (7), que é fino e tem um espelho grande (bom para levar comigo) e é óptimo porque dá para usar para fixar a maquilhagem ou por si próprio, pois uniformiza o tom de pele (se não me apetecer usar base). 

   Depois um Cream Color Base da MAC (8) que, mais uma vez, é multi-usos porque dá para usar em qualquer zona do rosto (eu gosto como blush) e um eyeliner líquido preto (9 - Liner Pinceau da Bourjois), já que cabe. Talvez preferissem um corrector, mas para mim, o pó e o BB Cream chegam-me.

    Then I fill the remaining free space with items that aren't necessarily essentials but I want to take. I really recommend the Body Shop blushes (10) for traveling, they're really good, the packaging is tiny but it's still 4 grams of product. 

   I also took a highlighter (11) and a lipstick (12) from NYX, a gloss by MAC (13) - of all the glosses I own, these take up the least space - and the Insurance Policy palette from Too Faced (14) because it's slim and has colors my Sleek palette doesn't. And that's it for makeup.

   Depois preencho o resto do espaço livre com itens que não são necessariamente essenciais mas que quero levar. Recomendo os blushes da Body Shop (10) para levar de viagem, são muito bons, o compacto é bem pequenino e mesmo assim contém 4 gramas de produto.

   Também levei um iluminador (11) e um batom (12) da NYX, um gloss da MAC - que de todos os que tenho são os que ocupam menos espaço - e a palete Insurance Policy da Too Faced (14) porque também é fininha e tem cores que a da Sleek não tem. E é isso de maquilhagem. 

 

   For brushes I take a blush brush that'll double as a powder brush, a stippling brush for my liquid or cream face products if I'm not in the mood to apply them with my hands, and quite a few eyeshadow brushes. 

   My brush roll has a pocket on the side, where I took two little spray bottles with toner and eye makeup remover, and my moisturizer – I actually didn't take the whole bottle, I took 3 samples I had, but I could've also put some moisturizer in a little 10 mL sample jar.

   De pincéis, levei um de blush que também uso para pé, um de duo fibra que gosto de usar com produtos de rosto líquidos ou em creme se não me apetecer aplicá-los com as mãos, e uns quantos pincéis de olhos. 

   A minha bolsa de pincéis tem um compartimento de lado onde levo duas garrafinhas de spray, uma com tónico e outra com desmaquilhante, e o hidratante – por acaso não levei este frasco, levei umas 3 amostras que ainda tinha, mas também podia ter posto um pouco do creme num frasquinho de 10 mL.

*Monthly favorites are a bunch of products I've been using a lot for the past month, they can be something recently purchased or something I've rediscovered in my collection, but overall they're good products I've been loving and that I recommend.*
    *Favoritos do mês são um conjunto de produtos que tenho usado muito no último mês, e podem ter sido comprados recentemente ou algo que redescobri na minha colecção de maquilhagem, mas no geral são bons produtos que tenho estado a adorar e recomendo.*
 

   I am shamefully late with last month's favorites, but between work and some mishaps that have been happening  to me, I just didn't had the time to post anything. Anyway, here we go:

   Estou vergonhosamente atrasada com os favoritos do mês passado, mas com o trabalho e alguns contratempos que me têm acontecido, o tempo para postar tem sido pouco. Enfim, vamos lá:

   1 - Mac Shadestick in Taupografic: 

   This is a warm, shimmery brown cream shadow that works both as my lid color and my eyeshadow base because it doesn't crease. I just add a darker color on the crease and some eyeliner and I'm good to go. It saves me time in the morning. I don't know why mac discontinued the shadesticks, but I guess a paint pot in a similar color would do the trick too.

   É uma sombra castanha em creme, com brilho, que tenho usado como cor principal e como base de sombras porque não acumula nas dobras. Adiciono apenas uma cor mais escura no côncavo e delineio os olhos e estou pronta. É prático e poupa-me tempo de manhã. Não sei porque é que a MAC descontinuou os shadesticks, mas um dos paint pots na mesma cor terá o mesmo efeito.

   2 - Essence Marble Mania blush in Swirlpool: 

   A recent purchase, but I've worn it enough to grant it the place of favorite. It's a sheer berry color with - and here comes the best part - a very beautiful sheen that's reminiscent of my beloved Petticoat Mirneralize Skinfinish by MAC. If you can still find it, grab it - for 4 €, it's a bargain. Plus, it smells good.

   Uma aquisição recente, mas foi usado o suficiente para ser incluído nos favoritos. É uma cor de framboesa translúcida com um brilho muito bonito, reminiscente do meu adorado Mineralize Skinfinish da MAC na cor Petticoat. Se ainda o conseguirem encontrar, não o deixem na prateleira - por 4 €, é uma pechincha. E cheira bem.
 

   3 - MAC blush in Full Of Joy:

   Another limited edition pick, sorry about that. It's still worth showing though, because I've yet to try a lilac blush that I don't like on me, and so I have to tell you to not be afraid to try this unusual blush color. This cool toned shade looks unexpectedly good on my warm undertoned skin, and it's wearable enough to be used on a daily basis. If you ever come across a lilac blush anywhere give it a chance before dismissing it.

   Mais uma escolha de edição limitada, desculpem-me. Mesmo assim vale a pena mostrá-lo, porque ainda não encontrei um blush lilás que não gostasse de ver no meu rosto, por isso tinha ao menos de vos dizer que não tenham medo de experimentar esta cor pouco convencional. Embora de subtons frios, fica surpreendentemente bem na minha tez amarelada e chega a ser apropriada para usar no dia-a-dia. Se alguma vez se depararem com um blush lilás, dê-lhe uma oportunidade ;).

   4 - Stila Sheer Pressed Powder:

   Love it. This is rivaling my Maybelline Dream Matte powder that I like so much. No matter how much I apply it, it never looks cakey. My skin looks and feels smooth, and not excessively powdered and dry like some powders can make it.

   Adoro-o. Este pó compacto compete com o Dream Matte da Maybelline que eu gosto tanto. Posso pôr a quantidade que me apetecer que nunca parece excessivo. A minha pele fica macia, e não seca nem fica com um aspecto exagerado como alguns pós conseguem fazer.

 
   5 - Real Techniques Stippling brush:

   Another duo fiber brush, I know... But one can never have too much of a good thing, right? This is a total winner, and for the price, pretty much unbeatable. I'll have a full review on it after using it a bit more, and I'll compare it to my other duo fiber brushes to let you know how it stands against them.

   Mais um pincel de duo fibra... pois, eu sei. Mas nunca se pode ter demasiado de uma coisa boa, né? Este é um excelente pincel, sobretudo para o preço. Farei uma review completa depois de o usar um pouco mais, e compará-lo-ei com os outros pincéis de duo fibra que experimentei.

    6 - Ecotools Powder Brush: 

   After trying and loving the blush brush from this line, I added the powder brush to my list. It has the right amount of density just so the application isn't too heavy.

   Depois de experimentar e adorar o pincel de blush da linha, tinha de experimentar este também. Tem a densidade perfeita para que a aplicação do pó não fique muito pesada.

   And my favorite shoes/ e os meus sapatos preferidos:

   Red velvet. Doesn't get much better than that for me. They're not for everyday, but they've been my first choice for going out at night - the very few times I've actually done that the past month.

   Veludo vermelho. Para mim, não há melhor que isto. Não são para o dia-a-dia mas têm sido a minha primeira escolha nas raras vezes que sai à noite durante o mês passado.

   Gosh, this past month just flew by. I lost my camera, which was so agonizing (but I've found it already :D) and I  had some problems with my computer. Luck just wasn't on my side, but I think everything's fine now. Hope you enjoyed the post!

Mint for Spring: Barry M's Mint Green

Menta para a Primavera: Mint Green da Barry M

    I think I'm getting more and more into light colors for my nails - which is saying a lot, since 90% of my collection consists of vampy nailpolish. Blame the pastel colors trend. Here is Barry M's Mint Green, a minty green that  for some reason shows up a lot bluer on photos. It's more of a pastel green with a light blue undertone. The consistency is not the best, it takes 3 coats for full opacity and to remove the streaks, but at least it seems to last a really long time without chipping over a basecoat.
    Here is a duller, but more true to color pic of the nailpolish, in direct sunlight:

    Acho que estou a gostar cada vez mais de cores claras nas unhas - o que é dizer alguma coisa já que 90% da minha colecção consiste em vernizes escuros. Culpem a moda das cores pastel. Aqui mostro o Mint Green da Barry M, um verde-menta que por alguma razão aparece mais azul nas fotos do que realmente é. É na verdade um verde pastel com um subtom azul. A consistência não é a melhor, precisou de três camadas para ficar opaco e uniforme, mas ao menos parece durar bastante tempo sem lascar se usado por cima de uma basecoat.
    A a cor do verniz na foto seguinte, embora mais baça, é mais próxima da realidade:

Spring Shoe Trend: Pastel Colors

    I'm over the moon with the pastel trend. I love it, I always loved these colors, and the great thing is that any pastel color goes great with any other pastel color, so it ends up being versatile. I couldn't resist it and I've been getting a few new clothing items, in mint and light coral mostly because those two seem to be the hottest colors right now. And I also want have been thinking that maybe it's worth getting a pair of pastel shoes. I've come across some suggestions I thought I should share:

    Estou super entusiasmada com esta moda de cores pastel. Sempre gostei destas cores, e o que têm de óptimo é que qualquer uma delas vai bem com qualquer outra cor pastel, por isso acabam por ser versáteis. Não consegui resistir e já me apetrechei com umas poucas roupas novas, na maioria em menta e coral clarinho, que parecem ser as cores mais populares do momento. E também quero ando a pensar que se calhar vale a pena arranjar uns sapatos numa cor destas. Encontrei algumas sugestões que achei por bem partilhar:

   1 - Smashbox Photo Finish Primer (review): 
   This is the only primer that I've used this past month because is on it's last leg and I just want to finish it. But I've been loving it nonetheless: it remains on of the best primers I've ever tried.
   Este é a única pré-base que tenho usado este último mês porque já está mesmo no fim e quero terminá-la. Mas tenho adorado usá-la: continua a ser uma das melhores pré-bases que já experimentei. 


   2 - Smashbox Skin Tint in Bella & Victoria's Secret Blushing Stick in So Flushed: 

   I think both of these products have been discontinued, but despite that, the fact is that I'm loving cream stick blushes. Cream blushes usually look so natural on the skin and tend to last all day on me. But what I love the most is that I don't need a brush to apply them, I just pop them on the cheeks and blend with my finger and that saves me a few minutes in the morning. The Victoria Secret blush is an almost gel formula that's very easy to blend into the skin. Here are some swatches: 

   Acho que ambos estes produtos foram descontinuados, mas independentemente disso, o facto é que estou a adorar blushes em stick. Blushes em creme ficam com um aspecto tão natural na pele, e na minha duram o dia todo. Mas o que gosto mais é que não é preciso usar pincel, aplico-os directamente do tubo e difundo com os dedos, e isto poupa-me alguns minutos de manhã. O blush da Victoria Secret tem uma textura quase em gel que é bastante fácil de difundir. Aqui estão as cores:

   3 - Essence Nailpolish in Choose Me! :
   Well, if you saw this nails of the day post, you know why I love it. It exceeded all expectations.
   Bem, se viram este post do verniz do dia, já sabem porque é que o adoro. Superou todas as expectativas. 


    4 - The Body Shop Shimmer Waves in Rose: 
   Highlighter is a step that I often skip, but this month, when I remembered, this was the one I reached to. It's a true pink highlighter that gives the most pretty sheen to the blushes I put underneath.
   Iluminador é um passo que me esqueço demasiadas vezes, mas este mês, quando me lembrava, era sempre este que usava. É um iluminador mesmo cor-de-rosa que dá um brilho lindo a qualquer blush que ponha por baixo.

   5 - MAC Vex Eyeshadow:
   This eyeshadow is so versatile. It's a silvery color with both a pink and green sheen. I reached for it almost everytime I did an eye look because it goes with so many colors, my favorite combinations being with blue and burgundy.
   Esta sombra é tão versátil. É um cinzento prateado com um brilho bicolor, rosa e verde. Usei-o praticamente sempre que usei maquilhagem nos olhos porque combina com imensas cores, sendo as minhas combinações preferidas com azul e bordô.

   6 - Kiko Automatic Precision Eyeliner in Black: 
   I love it when they're retractable: no time lost sharpening it, no product wasted. It's not the most long-wearing on the waterline, but it's a very intense black color.
   Adoro quando os eyeliners são retrácteis: não se perde tempo a afiá-los, não se desperdiça produto. Não é o que dura mais tempo na linha d'água, mas é um preto muito intenso. 


   The camera didn't do much justice to the Shimmer Waves or the Vex eyeshadow / A máquina não capturou bem o brilho das Shimmer Waves nem da sombra Vex:

   And finally, my favorite shoes of the month / E por fim, os sapatos preferidos do mês: 

   Gray boots seem to be ideal for this weather, specially now with the pastel colors trend, because it goes so well with those colors. It's a nice way to transition from Winter to Spring, and they pair well with basically any outfit.
   Botas cinzentas parecem ser ideais para este clima, sobretudo agora porque vão bem com a moda das cores pastel. É uma boa maneira de transitar do Inverno para a Primavera, e ficam bem com praticamente qualquer roupa.

Springfield Cosmetics

   I caved in  - gosh, I have no self control -  and took advantage of the Springfield cosmetics promotion (take three products for 4.99€ each and pay just 9.99€).  I blame the pretty packaging. It's not my fault I spend money on these things, I'm genetically programmed to like pink and vintage looking little boxes. Seriously, what's a girl to do?

   Eu não resisti - céus, não tenho autocontrolo nenhum - e tirei partido da promoção de maquilhagem da Springfield (por três produtos de 4.99€ paga-se só 9.99€).  A culpa é das embalagens bonitas. A sério, que culpa é que eu tenho de gastar dinheiro nestas coisas, se estou geneticamente programada para me sentir atraída por caixinhas vintage cor-de-rosa?

 

   Anyway, I wanted to tell you my first impressions on these products and show you some swatches, specially because I think these two shades of blushes are new. I remember only seeing the shades Peach and Pink when this line launched - and although technically Melocotón is spanish for Peach, I looked at both of them at the store and they're not the same color. Pink and Peach are both more neutral and subdued than the 2 shades I got.

   De qualquer maneira, queria dar-vos as minha primeiras impressões acerca destes produtos e mostrar-vos as cores, sobretudo porque acho que estes dois tons de blush são novos. Lembro-me de apenas ver as cores Pink e Peach quando a linha foi lançada, e embora tecnicamente Peach em espanhol é Melocotón, vi ambas as cores na loja e são sem dúvida diferentes. Tanto Pink como Peach são blushes mais neutros e subtis que os dois que trouxe.

 
 

   The lipstick color is Nude. I guess you can call it a nude but it's not your typical concealer-like nude, it's actually a light brownish peach, very wearable. It's creamy but unfortunately, not too forgiving on the lips: you need to have them very well moisturized, otherwise, it'll accentuated the dryness and make your lips look incredibly chapped.

   A cor do batom é Nude. Suponho que se possa chamar-lhe um nude, mas não é o nude-tipo-corrector do costume, é na verdade uma cor de pêssego clara com tons castanhos, fácil de usar. É cremoso mas, infelizmente, precisamos de ter os lábios muito bem hidratados porque este batom acentua os defeitos e fá-los parecer muito secos.

   The blushes are truly makeup gems, both of them bright and pigmented. Granada is beautiful, but Melocotón totally stole my heart. I was so surprised to see that it was so hard to find a dupe for it in my collection. Every other color blush I compared it to is either too orange, too pink or too red.  It's such a unique color.
   I only tested Melocotón so far. It lasted all day and I suspect you won't have fading issues with these blushes. They may be a little hard to blend out if you're not using the right brush. I tried to use my MAC 109 but quickly switched to my Yves Rocher blush brush - this is my holy grail blush brush, it applies any (any!) blush perfectly.

   Os blushes são umas jóias, ambos bem vibrantes e pigmentados. Granada é lindo, mas Melocotón conquistou-me. Fiquei surpreendida com a dificuldade que tive em encontrar uma cor parecida na minha colecção. Todos os outros blushes aos quais o comparei ou são muito rosa, ou muito laranja, ou muito vermelhos em comparação. É uma cor singular.
   Só testei a cor Melocotón até agora. Durou o dia inteiro, e suspeito que não haja problemas de desvanecimento com estes blushes. Podem ser um pouco complicados de difundir se não usarmos o pincel certo. Primeiro experimentei com o 109 da MAC mas rapidamente mudei para o de blush da Yves Rocher - que é o meu santo graal dos pinceis de blush, aplica qualquer (mas qualquer!) blush na perfeição.

   I also saw the eyeshadows and they too look amazing. And there's still one more lipstick I want to try, so these won't certainly be the only Springfield makeup products to have a home in my stash xD. The blushes are 10 grams each and the lipstick is 4 grams, and they're available at Springfield stores for 4.99€ each.

   Também dei uma olhadela nas sombras e pareceram-me óptimas. E ainda há mais um tom de batom que quero experimentar, por isso estes não serão certamente os únicos produtos da Springfield a encontrar um lar na minha colecção xD. Os blushes têm 10 gramas cada e o batom tem 4 gramas, e estão a 4.99€ cada um nas lojas da Springfield.

Sapatos Originais desta Primavera/Verão

   While checking out the new shoe trends for this season, I noticed that quite a few original ideas popped out on the S/S 2012 ready-to-wear runways. A few designers came up with designs that stand out from the trends, and some of them are almost cartoon-ish!

    Enquanto estava a ver a nova moda de calçado para esta estação, reparei numas quantas ideias originais que apareceram nas passereles de pronto-a-vestir de Primavera/Verão. Alguns estilistas criaram designs que se destacam no meio das tendências, e alguns deles são quase caricatos.

 

Dolce&Gabbana

   My favorite were the scarf wrapped wedges by D&G.They're gorgeous and even though they almost looks like boots, they're still very Summer-y.

    As que mais gostei foram estas cunhas da D&G envoltas em lenços. São lindas e embora se pareçam quase com botas, continuam a ser muito apropriadas para as estações mais frescas.

Burberry 

   The Burberry show also had some neat ideas. Not particularly new, but I like that the shoes looked like they had bracelets. Those wood colorful beads are very tropical looking. I also like what they did on the shoe at the bottom-left: a wedge with a colorful print and the rest of the shoe is made of woven raffia (usually is the other way around).

    O desfile da Burberry também foi interessante. Não é uma ideia particularmente nova, mas gostei que os sapatos parecessem que tinham pulseiras. As missangas de madeira colorida dão-lhes um ar tropical. Também gostei do que fizeram no sapato em baixo, à esquerda: a cunha tem um padrão colorido e o resto do sapato parece ser de vime (normalmente vemos o inverso).

Prada

    I'm used to see the most criative, themed shoes from designers that dedicated their time to only - or mostly - shoe design, like Kobi Levi or Mai Lamore. They don't show up often on the actual runways when the brands are presenting their new ready-to-wear collections (unless we're talking about something like Alexander Mcqueen, but then again, calling those designs "ready-to-wear" is a bit of a stretch if you're not Lady Gaga).
    But Prada really went for it. These shoes were apparently inspired by classic cars, but to me they just look like they come straight from a fashionista super-heroine wardrobe.

    Estou habituada a ver os sapatos mais criativos e temáticos de designers que dedicam o seu tempo somente - ou principalmente - ao design de calçado, como Kobi Levi ou Mai Lamore. Este tipo de sapatos não tem o hábito de aparecer nas passereles, quando as marcas apresentam as suas novas colecções de pronto-a-vestir ( a não ser que estejamos a falar de algo como Alexander Mcqueen, mas chamar às suas colecções de "pronto-a-vestir" é um bocado puxado se não formos a Lady Gaga).
   Mas a Prada arriscou. Aparentemente, os carros clássicos foram a inspiração para estes sapatos, mas para mim parecem mais que saíram directamente do guarda-roupa de uma super-heroína fashionista.

Miu Miu

    Then lastly I saw the Miu Miu shoes. Very bright and loud. Again, they seem fit for a super-heroine. Different, and I'm not sure if I would ever wear something like this, but I really like the shape of the whole shoe, and partircularly the heel. They have them in just a solid black color, and I really liked those.

    Por fim vi os sapatos da Miu Miu. Bastante garridos e vistosos. Mais uma vez, parecem apropriados para uma super-heroina. Diferentes, e não sei se alguma vez usaria algo assim, mas gosto do modelo do sapato, em particular do salto. Existe uma versão completamente em preto que gostei bastante.
